RCMP ask for assistance to locate Cold Lake shooting suspect

RCMP are asking the public to help them locate a man responsible for a shooting near Cold Lake October 3.

Cold Lake RCMP are requesting the public’s help to find a suspect responsible for a shooting near Frog Lake, Alberta October 3.

Police said the suspect was walking down Highway 897 when a 33-year-old man stopped to talk to him. The suspect then allegedly attempted to man’s vehicle and shot him in the upper body.

The suspect is described as being 40 to 50-years-old with a scruffy bears, slicked back hair in a ponytail. RCMP said he was wearing a hoodie and black leather jacket.
