Slave Lake RCMP said Friday the autopsy on the body of a female who was pulled from the Lesser Slave River had confirmed her identity, and her death is considered suspicious.

Back on August 5, the body of the young woman was recovered from the Lesser Slave River.

An autopsy by the Medical Examiner confirmed the identity of the deceased as Nicole Robar, 21, who was reported missing days before the body was found.

Her death is considered suspicious.

Robar was reported missing August 1 to Spruce Grove RCMP, it was believed she had been in Slave Lake on July 10.
