RCMP investigating after brass plaques stolen in Sherwood Park

RCMP released photos of the brick column on Woodlake Rd. and Woodlake Manor after two of four brass plaques were pulled off of it at some point between the night of August 15 and morning of August 16. Supplied.

Police said an investigation was underway, after a number of brass plaques were stolen from a brick pillar in Sherwood Park.

Strathcona County RCMP said at some point between 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15 and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, two of four brass plaques were taken off of a brick column located on the corner of Woodlake Road and Woodlake Manor in Sherwood Park.

Police are still investigating, and released images of the column the plaques were taken from.
