Police east of Edmonton said an investigation was underway, after a youth was allegedly assaulted at a convenience store in Sherwood Park.
RCMP said on Monday, May 4 at about 5:15 p.m. officers were called to a 7 Eleven on Cloverbar Road in Sherwood Park.
Strathcona County RCMP and paramedics were called to the scene, and a male youth was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries he suffered.
Investigators said early information revealed the incident may have been related to an incident of road rage.
The suspect is described as:
- Male in his 30s or 40s
- 5’8” tall
- Bald
- Heavy build
- Wearing a black t-shirt and shorts
