At around 7 a.m. Monday morning Elk Point RCMP responded to an attempted carjacking near the Community Hall in Frog Lake.

Police said its believed black truck attempted to force another vehicle off the road. An occupant of the vehicle waved what the victim said was a firearm, the truck then sped away.

Prior to the carjacking, a truck matching the description was involved in a break and enter near Laurier Lake. The truck is described as:

  • Black four-door F150 half ton
  • Severe damage to the passenger side
  • No passenger side mirror
  • No licence plate
  • Dimmed passenger side headlight
  • Something dragging beneath the vehicle

The male suspect in the picture is described as:

  • Approximately 183 cm (6’0”) tall
  • White hat
  • White hoodie
  • White shoes
