Edmonton’s RCMP Major Crime Unit has been called out to help investigate a police-related shooting in Edson.
Edson RCMP said officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle at the Wal-Mart around 8:40 a.m. when an incident occurred that resulted in an officer discharging their firearm.
Police have been searching for the vehicle, described as a Ford or Dodge ¾-ton truck.
Officials said they were unsure of the condition of the occupant or if the vehicle was damaged in the incident.
