RCMP recover unique pocket watch, trying to find owner

Police in northern Alberta are trying to track down the owner of a pocket watch recently recovered from a stolen vehicle.

Grande Prairie RCMP said on Thursday, June 30, 2016, officers were involved in the recovery of a stolen vehicle near the PACE building, on 103 Avenue.

Over the course of their investigation, police found a pocket watch which they believe was also stolen.

RCMP ask that the rightful owner call Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701, and provide a detailed description of the front of the watch and it’s carrying case – neither of which is shown in the photo released by police.
