Days after RCMP in northern Alberta said they were looking for two teenagers last seen in Whitefish River First Nation Saturday, RCMP said one of the missing individuals had been found dead – and the search continued for his girlfriend.

Back on Sunday, July 24, High Prairie RCMP said the search was on for Dylan Laboucan, 17, and his girlfriend Cory Grey, 19 – the pair was last seen the day before on the Whitefish River First Nation.

On Tuesday, RCMP confirmed to CTV News that searchers looking for the pair in Whitefish River First Nation had found the body of a male – which has since been identified as Laboucan.

His death is under investigation, an autopsy has been scheduled to take place in Edmonton on Wednesday.

The search continues for Cory Grey – she is described as:

  • First Nations female
  • 163 cm (5’3”) tall
  • Weighs about 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
