More than 150 children with special needs got a chance to take in some rodeo fun Wednesday morning.

On its 15th anniversary, Rodeo Magic opened up the opportunity for children with special needs in the Edmonton area to experience all the activities that come along with a traditional rodeo such as horseback riding and chuckwagon rides.

It doesn't get any better than this…the experience and the chance for boys and girls to be cowboys and cowgirls for the day…you can just see all the excitement around here," said Britteny Foster, Miss Rodeo Canada 2010 who was on hand for the event.

The children also got a chance to meet professional rodeo athletes and taking pictures with a bull.

"This is awesome, just a relaxing morning…get to come out and play with the kids…see some smiles and smile yourself," said bull fighter David Sandilands.

The Canadian Finals Rodeo officially kicks off in Edmonton Wednesday night and runs for five days.
