Edmonton’s youngest superhero will be taking time to meet her fans and raise money for people fighting the same battle as her.

Spider-Mable will be signing autographs Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.at Happy Harbor Comics in downtown Edmonton. Fans will have a chance to meet the six-year-old and buy a limited edition Spider-Mable print.

Proceeds will be donated to support Leukemia and Lymphoma research.

“This will certainly be the youngest person we've ever had doing a signing at the shop,” said Happy Harbor Comics owner, Jay Bardyla.

“It’s really great that we have the opportunity to assist her to raise awareness and funds.”

Mable was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the white blood cells, in 2013.

On Monday, Edmontonians and fans on social media rallied behind Spider-Mable as she saved Oilers Captain Andrew Ference from a faux-kidnapping.
