Camrose Police have charged a man in his 50s, for his alleged involvement in the death of a man in Camrose over the weekend.

Paramedics were also called to the scene, and the 44-year-old man was rushed to hospital.
“He was transported to hospital,” Inspector Lee Foreman said Monday. “Unfortunately, [he was] declared deceased, we then entered into a criminal investigation, with respect to the suspicious nature of that death.”
On Monday, police told CTV News the death was considered suspicious.
An autopsy was conducted on Monday, where the Medical Examiner found Bartlett Russell Silverthorn, 44, of Camrose, succumbed to injuries he suffered during a fight – no weapons were involved.
Police have charged 51-year-old Garry Lyle White with manslaughter.
He is scheduled to appear in a Camrose courtroom on Wednesday.
