RCMP have arrested and charged a 19-year-old man in connection to the slaying of a 16-year-old boy earlier this month.
Hobbema RCMP said Tuesday that Lindsey Allen Bruno, 19, had been arrested in the Samson Cree Nation on a warrant for second degree murder that day.
Bruno was charged in connection to the shooting death of 16-year-old Levonne Baptiste on Feb. 2 in Hobbema.
Days after the teen was killed, RCMP said they believed the incident was gang-related, and a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for Bruno.
