Edmonton police said a teenager was facing charges after another teen was injured in a stabbing earlier in the week.
On Tuesday, officers in the Northeast Division were called to the Coliseum Transit Centre after ETS security found an injured young male at about 4 p.m.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene, and found a 14-year-old suffering from stab wounds; he was treated on the scene and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
With help from ETS security, police arrested a 16-year-old on the scene, he was charged with possession of a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and three counts of breach of recognizance.
The names of the youths can’t be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
