RCMP in Stony Plain and Spruce Grove said three Edmonton residents were arrested and charged after a variety of drugs were found in a local apartment.

RCMP said on March 20, 2017, with help from the Edmonton Police Service Tactical Team, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment in Edmonton.

Inside, police found and seized methamphetamine, cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, a sawed-off shotgun and break-in tools.

Three people were arrested:

  • Jonathan Roy Vanderhaak, 31, is facing a total of 14 charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Jocelan Yeomans, 37, is facing a total of eight charges including trafficking cocaine, drug possession, and a number of firearms-related charges
  • Ashley Noel Actimichuk, 29, was arrested on outstanding warrants for assault with a weapon

RCMP said Vanderhaak and Actimichuk were remanded in custody, and Yeomans was released on recognizance. All three are scheduled to appear in court later in March.
