Traffic stop leads to the arrest of two men for drug trafficking

Wood Buffalo RCMP conducted a vehicle stop which resulted in the seizure of drugs and cash from two Fort McMurray residents.

On October 8, police arrested two Fort McMurray men and seized 21 grams of cocaine, 44 tablets of MDMA, 1 gram of shatter, and $1,875 in Canadian currency.

Jeremy Daniel Hearn, 31, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and proceeds obtained by crime.

Douglas William Moore, 28, has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds obtained by crime, weapon dangerous to the public, concealed weapon, prohibited weapon, and possession of a controlled substance.
