Edmonton police said two people are facing a number of charges, and investigators have seized nearly $100,000 worth in drugs and paraphernalia from a downtown-area home after it was searched.

Police said Downtown Division officers executed a search warrant at a home in the area of 95 Street and 105 Avenue.

Investigators seized drugs and paraphernalia valued at nearly$100,000, including:

  • 86 grams of marijuana
  • 2.5 grams of methamphetamine
  • About 10,000 prescription pills, including oxycontin and dilaudid
  • A number of cell phones
  • Two scales and drug bags
  • A replica firearm

A man and a woman were arrested on the property without incident. Now, Louis Cook, 54, and Tammy Severight, 40, are facing sixteen charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and charges of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to the public.
