Two youths dead after single-vehicle crash near High Prairie

Two youths are dead following a single-vehicle collision south of High Prairie early Saturday morning.

Mounties were called to the collision on Range Road 272, approximately five kilometres south of High Prairie, at approximately 2:10 a.m.

RCMP said the SUV went down a bank and into a body of water.

Two of the three youths in the vehicle died on scene, police said. The third passenger suffered minor injuries.

RCMP are investigating what led to the crash.

High Prairie is approximately 370 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
