Not sure what to do this weekend, outside of binge-watching Making a Murderer on Netflix? Here are a few options.

Bobby Lee at the Comic Strip (Friday, Saturday)

You may recognize him as one of the better performers on MadTV, or from Curb Your Enthusiasm, or from one of the many other things he’s done. He’s really funny and has done a lot of funny things, is the point.

He’ll be at the Comic Strip for two shows on Friday, and another two on Saturday.

Beyond Rubik’s Cube (until February 15)

From Telus World of Science Edmonton:

“Through highly interactive physical and digital challenges, visitors will explore how the Rubik’s Cube emerged from a workshop in Communist-era Hungary to become a worldwide phenomenon, fostering creativity across the fields of science, technology, engineering, robotics, the visual arts, music, film, architecture, and mathematics.”

We’ve heard good things about this one, and if our most recent ticket giveaway on Twitter is any indication, excitement is high. We recommend this one for anyone with a bright mind and a desire to solve puzzles.

The Iron Giant: Signature Edition (Saturday, 2PM)

Don’t feel like hanging around outside? That’s cool, too; Metro Cinema’s showing the fan favorite The Iron Giant on Saturday

“A giant alien robot (Vin Diesel) crash-lands near the small town of Rockwell, Maine in 1957. Exploring the area, a local 9-year-old boy discovers the robot, and soon forms an unlikely friendship with him. When a paranoid government agent becomes determined to destroy the robot, the boy must do what he can to save the misunderstood machine. A newly remastered Signature Edition with additional scenes.

Free admission for kids 12 & under.”
