The widow of a fallen Canadian soldier is making sure his sacrifices are never forgotten.

Sarah Keller has set up a bursary for NAIT students in her late husband's name.

Corporal Bryce Keller was killed during a firefight with insurgents in Afghanistan in 2006. He was a student at NAIT before leaving for Afghanistan.

"I think he'd be embarrassed a little by this. He didn't really like the spotlight but inside he'd be proud because he wouldn't want to be forgotten," said Keller.

Keller donated $21,000 to the Corporal Bryce Keller Medal of Military Valor Memorial Bursary. The $1000 bursary will be given out annually to eligible students.
