Edmonton police have charged an individual in connection to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in the city’s northeast in mid-February.

Back on Thursday, February 16, police were called to a collision involving a pedestrian in the area of 55 Street and 146 Avenue at about 10 p.m.

Paramedics responded, treated and transported the 86-year-old female pedestrian to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

On Friday, police said Susan Power, 51, had been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
