Ward Nine
Profile:
Ward Nine is the largest in terms of population. While the north section of the Ward including Twin Brooks is older, there are neighbourhoods like Terwillegar that are still under development. To the south the Chappelle and Desrochers Areas are very new and right on the edge of the city. A big draw to the area is the Terwillegar recreation centre which boasts everything from a fitness facility to a large pool.

Key Issues:
Like other wards with newer neighbourhoods, a big issue here is traffic congestion during the morning and afternoon peak traffic times. Movement in and out of neighbourhoods especially towards the downtown core has been a problem.
