Lake Summerside

Located in southeast Edmonton, Lake Summerside is a unique community nestled around and along the shores of Edmonton's only four season recreational lake.

The 32 acre lake was the city's first man-made lake built for a purpose, and that purpose is recreation.

At 28 feet deep, the lake can handle boating, fishing and swimming in the summer, skating in the winter and a huge number of other great family activities year-round.

Construction on Summerside began in the early 2000s, but it continues to grow, with approximately three quarters of the homes defined as low-density residential with lots of green space.

Named after the city of Summerside in Prince Edward Island, the architecture in the neighbourhood is inspired by the subtle charm of a private seaside hideaway.
