Alberta wildfire emergency alerts on Saturday
Emergency alerts were updated continuously on Saturday as extreme wildfire activity picked up with the return of hot temperatures.
CTV News Edmonton kept track of Alberta Emergency Alerts issued throughout Saturday until 10 p.m., when this article stopped being updated.
Anyone under an evacuation order should pack pets, important documents, medication and enough food and water to be away from home for seven days.

These were the most recent alerts in Alberta:
LEDUC COUNTY
An Alberta Emergency Alert was issued by Leduc County at 8:56 on Saturday due to a wildfire burning west of the Town of Devon.
An evacuation alert remained in effect for everyone in the area of Township Road 504 north to the North Saskatchewan River, between Range Road 271 and Range Road 265. However, the alert said the fire had been contained, and crews would work in the area overnight.
The evacuation order did not include the Town of Devon.
Evacuees were asked to call 780-955-4546 to register once they reached a safe place.
Township Road 504 between Range Road 265 and Range Road 271 was closed. Range Road 265 and Range Road 271 were also closed.
DENE THA' FIRST NATION
At 6:32 on Saturday, a wildfire west of Chateh prompted an emergency alert.
The fire was pushing northeast to the community, the alert read, and all community members were told to leave immediately and go to the Bushe River Administrative Office in High Level to register.
Residents were warned that smoke in the area was affecting visibility.
CLEAR HILLS COUNTY
An emergency alert was issued for Clear Hills County at 5:23 p.m. due to a wildfire moving northeast along the south side of Highway 64.
Residents in the area south of Township Road 854, between Range Road 84 and Range Road 74, were told to be ready to leave on a one-hour notice.
SUCKER CREEK FIRST NATION
An emergency alert was issued at 5:17 p.m. Saturday for Sucker Creek First Nation, due to wildfire concern west of East Prairie Road to Highway 749.
All residents were told to be ready to leave on a one-hour notice.
BIG LAKES COUNTY
An emergency alert was issued in Big Lakes County at 9:32 p.m. on Saturday, downgrading a mandatory evacuation to an alert.
Risk of wildfires remained high due to isolated ground fires.
Residents in affected areas were told to be ready to leave on a one-hour notice.
Residents of High Prairie were told to be ready to leave on a four-hour notice.
Highway 749 was reopened, and the alert said Utility crews were in the area working to restore services, though some areas remained with no electricity or natural gas.
An evacuation order was given for residents south of Township Road 740 to Township Road 730, between Range Road 152 and Range Road 162, at 7:11 on Saturday.
Gift Lake and Peavine Métis Settlement were not part of that evacuation order.
The East Métis Settlement remained under an evacuation order.
Evacuees were told to register at the Elks Rodeo Hall north of the Town of High Prairie at 74508 on Highway 749. Camping was available on-site at the Rodeo Hall for RVs.
MD OF GREENVIEW
An emergency alert was issued at 7:46 p.m. Saturday for Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation and everyone north of the nation and south of Township Road 722, between Range Road 242 and Highway 49.
All residents in that area remained under an evacuation order. Anyone who needed help to leave was told to call 780-524-3345.
An Alberta Emergency Alert was issued at 2:39 p.m. Saturday for the area south of Grovedale.
Residents south of Township Road 690, between Highway 40 and the B.C. border were told to leave immediately and go to the reception centre at the Bonnetts Energy Centre at 10017 99 Avenue in Grande Prairie.
Everyone north of Township Road 690 to the Wapiti River was told to be ready to evacuate on short notice.
CLEAR HILLS COUNTY
An Alberta Emergency Alert was issued at 10:09 p.m. on Friday, warning residents in Cleardale and Peace River Banks in the area of Highway 64 North on Range Road 74 to Township 854 west to Range Road 84 then south to Highway 64 to prepare to evacuate on a one-hour notice.
The alert said a wildfire in the area has crossed the fire guard.
Residents should prepare important documents, medication, enough food and water and supplies to last 72 hours, and anything required for their pets.
RAINBOW LAKE
An evacuation order remained in place in Rainbow Lake on Saturday at 9:34.
Residents were told to go to the High Level Arena at 10101 105 Avenue in High Level. There are beds and spaces to park campers.
A checkstop had been set up at the Chateh Road Turnoff and residents were told to register there.
BRAZEAU COUNTY
An emergency alert was issued for areas of Brazeau Country and the Town of Drayton Valley at 9:35 Saturday.
An evacuation order remained in place for the Town of Drayton Valley and residents in the area of Township Road 480 north to Township Road 494, between Range Road 64 and Range Road 90.
From Highway 39 north on the east side of the North Saskatchewan River was not part of the evacuation order.
Residents in the area between Township Road 480 to Highway 621, and between Range Road 90 and Range Road 110 – including the town of Cynthia – were told to be ready to leave on a 30-minute order.
Impacted residents may evacuate to Edmonton. A reception centre has been set up at the Edmonton Expo Centre at 7515 118 Avenue.
