A Mill Woods school was locked down for a short time Wednesday afternoon after an armed robbery in the neighbourhood.

Police tell CTV News a man in his 30s walked into a Servus Credit Union with a gun around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured during the robbery, however police say J. Percy Page High School was locked down because it was believed the suspect may have been heading in that direction after he fled from the credit union.

Police won’t say how much money was stolen.

They are still searching for the suspect.
