Three people are recovering in hospital after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 21 Saturday night.
Camrose RCMP said the collision happened three kilometers north of Hay Lakes around 11 p.m. when a Saturn Ion heading south collided with a northbound vehicle.
That collision also impacted three other vehicles.
The jaws of life were used to extract the 22-year-old driver of the Ion who was taken to an Edmonton hospital by STARS Air Ambulance.
Police said he suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Two other people were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges have been laid and police continue to investigate.
