Edmonton Police have charged a woman in connection to the late-September slaying of a 27-year-old man on the south-side.

On Friday, Police announced Amanda Kaye, 26, with second degree murder, and possession of a weapon, in connection to the death of Tyler Christopher Kaye.

The victim was found dead in his home after police were called to the area of 28 Avenue and 111 Street on a weapons complaint.

Later, it was reported that Kaye had succumbed to multiple stab wounds.

The accused has been scheduled to appear in court on October 19.
