Chelan Skulski

Chelan Skulski is the legislature reporter at CTV News Edmonton.

Before taking on the role, she worked as producer, writer and former co-host of Alberta Primetime on CTV2.  

Chelan was born and raised in Regina, Sask. She holds degrees in Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science from the University of Regina.

Chelan was driven toward a career in journalism because of her innate curiosity and interest in telling the stories of people who make up our communities.

Stepping into the role of legislature reporter is a perfect fit for Chelan. Given her education, she has always been interested in how political structures impact our day-to-day lives. Chelan enjoys delving into the key political and social issues facing our province, and hopes to provide an opportunity for voices of all ideologies to share their perspectives.

Beyond her interest in politics, Chelan is an avid runner and amateur chef.
