A house fire broke out at a home in Fort Saskatchewan just after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The family, who was home at the time, managed to make it out safely.
Fire crews said the blaze was contained to the one house.
No injuries have been reported.
The Christmas Eve fire was in the Greenfield Neighbourhood in the Southeast part of the city.
