Michelle and Joe Labossiere had the wedding of their dreams last May, but the memory of their special day has been clouded by concern; they paid their photographer more than $3,000 and have yet to receive any photos.

"My worst assumption is that our photos were lost and it's terrifying," said Michelle Labossiere.

Labossiere and her husband have seen their more than 2,000 wedding photos on their photographer's website, but haven't been given the 200 hard copies promised in their photo package.

The couple thought they were protecting themselves when they had Harm Van Andel, from Harms' Photography, do a test shoot for some engagement photos.

"We got the photos within two weeks and we loved them," said Labossiere.

The couple quickly hired the photographer for their wedding.

They paid a deposit in advance and on their wedding day the couple paid the rest of the balance. Their wedding was almost a year ago, and when they try to get in touch with the photographer they say they get the run-around.

"Each time it's just ‘Oh it's done, it's ready, I'll deliver it' and then nothing, just absolute no-show," said Labossiere.

Labossiere says under the agreement with the photographer he was to post their photos on his website and then they were supposed to pick 200 photos from the 2,000 he shot.

Labossiere admits she and her husband were delayed picking their pictures; they didn't make their selections until December after they got back from their honeymoon, but she says the delay from the photographer is unacceptable.

Now Labossiere says her photographer has stopped answered her calls.

CTV News tried to get in touch with Harm's Photography, and got a response late Saturday afternoon.

Van Andel says he intends to get the Labossiere's their pictures as soon as possible.  He says he is currently out of the country and also says the growth of his company has caused some snags.

"Sometimes I'm too busy...but I'm not out to get anyone," writes Van Andel.

CTV News visited the photographer's website and facebook page and found the Labossiere's wedding pictures being promoted on both sites. Labossiere says seeing her wedding pictures on the internet makes the situation that much more frustrating.

"It bothers me that our photos are on his facebook promoting his photography and we don't have our photos," said Labossiere.
