The court case for a 21-year-old man who is facing several charges in the deaths of four teens was postponed Monday.
Matt Deller, 16, Tanner Hildebrand, 15, Vincent Stover, 16 and Walter Borden-Wilkens, 15, were killed in a collision on October 22.
The boys were students at Grande Prairie Composite High School and members of the Warriors football team.
Brendan Holubowich, 21, has been charged in the case. The charges against Holubowich include impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm and flight from police.
The 21-year-old man did not appear in court Monday, but a lawyer attended on his behalf.
"We expect a lot of witness statements. We expect an accident reconstruction to be completed and come in and really no decisions can be made by us or the Crown on how to proceed until we get that information," said Holubowich's lawyer, Chris Millsap.
The matter was put over to Nov. 28th.
The community of Grande Prairie united Sunday morning for a public memorial service to honour the four teens.
The sole survivor of the collision, Zak Judd, remains in a medically-induced comma at an Edmonton hospital.
Stories of the boys were told during the service, including some from their family members.
A live video feed of the memorial service was sent to the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton so that Zak and his family could be part of the ceremony.
Among those who attended the service were MLA Wayne Drysdale and Edmonton Eskimos Aaron Fiacconi and Kyle Koch.
