Crash closes Highway 2A near Millet

Traffic on Highway 2A south of Millet was redirected Wednesday night after a serious crash.

At 8:45 p.m., RCMP issued a release saying the crash was affecting traffic on the highway near Township Road 474.

Both directions of traffic were being redirected while emergency workers responded.

RCMP said officers would likely remain on scene for several hours.

No other details about the crash were given.

The Town of Millet is about 50 kilometres south of Edmonton.
