Two school buses carrying children were involved in a crash in south Edmonton Wednesday morning.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash and have not said what they believed happened.

It appeared one bus driver rear ended a pick-up truck on northbound Terwillegar Drive at Bulyea Road.

An Edmonton Police Service spokesperson said a fourth vehicle was involved, but not how.

When CTV News Edmonton arrived at the scene, the second bus was also parked on the road at the scene.

According to EPS, each bus had two or three children on board, none of whom were injured.

The crash significantly impacted northbound Terwillegar Drive traffic attempting to get onto Whitemud Drive.
