A number of charges have been laid against a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Officials with the Canadian Armed Forces said Mathieu Leblond, who had previously served with the 1 Service Battalion, at CFB Edmonton, was facing a total of five charges.
The charges range from possession and trafficking charges.
The investigation into this case was carried out by a specialized military investigation team, the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service.
The military justice system will continue to handle the case.
