An Edmonton chiropractor who was previously charged with sexual assault is facing additional charges after more people reported that he had touched them inappropriately.

Bradley Basaraba, 60, was charged with one count of sexual assault on May 13, 2024 in connection with an incident at his chiropractice Yeg Chiro and Neuro.

Last month police sent out a news release soliciting additional complaints about Basaraba.

Since then, they say eight more complainants have come forward.

On Wednesday, Basaraba was charged with eight counts of sexual assault.

He has been released on conditions, including to:

  • not contact or communicate with any of the complainants;
  • not visit the complainants' residences, places of employment, education or worship;
  • not possess any weapons, firearms or ammunition;
  • not practice chiropractic, acupuncture or hypnotherapy services unless under direct, in person supervision by a regulated member of the Health Professions Act;
  • notify all current and prospective patients regarding a misconduct investigation underway by the College of Chiropractors of Alberta (CCOA) ;
  • notify all current and prospective patients of these conditions; and
  • obtain the written acknowledgement of all current and prospective patients that they have been notified of the CCOA investigation and these conditions.

Police believe there may still be additional complainants and are asking anyone with information about the case to contact them at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
