An Edmonton couple has died after a collision near Mundare.
Vegreville RCMP said they responded to a collision around 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Highway 16.
Investigators believe that a Ford Ranger pickup heading eastbound on the highway may have stopped on the shoulder of the road when a tow truck, also heading east, collided with it.
The collision pushed both vehicles into the south ditch near an adjacent treeline.

The 39-year-old driver of the tow truck was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The names of the couple have not been released.
Police said the incident was still under investigation.
