Edmonton hit hard by hail, tornado watch ends

Edmonton got hit by a hailstorm Friday night while the city was under a severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch.

Surrounding areas, including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Camrose, Wetaskiwin, and Spruce Grove, were also under the same warning and watch.

Getting pounded by sporadic, but large chunks of hail in west #yeg right now.
