Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a woman who was last heard from in late December.

Police said Tigisti Kahsay Bayru, 23, was reported missing to police, after her family became concerned because she had been out of touch since December 28.

It’s believed Bayru was in the Kingston, Ontario area, after she travelled there on December 29, 2014.

There are concerns for her wellbeing because she needs medication, but there is no indication of foul play.

Bayru is described as:

  • About 157.5 cm (5’2”) tall
  • Weighs about 78 kg (172 lbs)
  • Brown eyes
  • Brown hair, but may be wearing a long blond wig
