A former real estate agent has been found guilty of several sexual assault charges – after three prostitutes reported violent incidents with him dating back three years.

On Friday, Oldin Maldonado, 29, was found guilty of all charges stemming from violent encounters reported by three sex workers in 2009.

Maldonado was charged in June of 2009 with two counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm, three counts of unlawful confinement, and one count each of sexual assault, robbery, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Police began investigating the former realtor after a single violent assault was reported in April of 2009, and then two more came to light in mid May.

In all three reported cases, the women were picked up in the area of 118 Avenue, and then taken to other places in Edmonton.

He is in custody, it's expected he will be sentenced on February 10.
