Cold Lake RCMP arrested four individuals for identity theft after officers were called to a local hotel.
Police arrived to the scene around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 2 and heard the individuals had been removing suspicious items out of the room they were staying in.
Police recovered items including: electronic debit\credit card readers, laptops, cell phones, bags full of financial documents, bills, cheques and personal identity information for over 25 victims.
Cassandra Janvier, 27, Michael Possberg, 33, and Justin Skulte, 28, along with a 17-year-old were charged with series of offences including possession of stolen property, identity theft, and possession of instruments for coping or forging credit cards.
They are scheduled to appear in court October 11, 2017.
