Grande Prairie RCMP have located a 26-year-old woman who had been reported missing.

Danielle Metz was found at a mall by an off duty officer in that city around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Metz was last seen around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

She was visiting her mother in Grande Prairie and was discovered missing just before 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said they had been concerned about Metz’s health.

Metz needs medication to treat her schizophrenia and officials said she may not be dressed appropriately for the weather conditions.

However, the RCMP said she was found unharmed and in good health.
