Homicide detectives continue to investigate after a man’s body was found at a downtown home in Edmonton.

Police responded to the call just before 3 p.m. Saturday at 120 Street and 102 Avenue.

“The circumstances are sufficiently suspicious that we have called out our homicide detectives and our forensic investigators to take the lead in the investigation,” acting inspector Malcom Allan said.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday afternoon.

The deceased’s identity has not been released.
