Edmonton police said Homicide Unit investigators have released a number of photos, showing potential witnesses to a fatal stabbing near the Coliseum LRT Station April 11.
The incident happened on Tuesday, April 11, officers were called to a transit stop at the 118 Avenue underpass near the Coliseum Transit station, after receiving calls from passing motorists for assistance.
On Wednesday, police said the Medical Examiner confirmed the 19-year-old male victim died from a stab wound, making this death Edmonton’s 13th (out of a total of 14) homicide of 2017.
Police released nine photos showing a number of potential witnesses to the incident, and are asking anyone seen in the photos, or anyone who saw the incident, to call the Edmonton Police Service non-emergency line at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone.
