Edmonton police say the third and final person believed to be responsible for the death of a 25-year-old earlier this month has been arrested without incident.

Emery Dean Cardinal turned himself in at Fort McMurray's RCMP detachment on Saturday, just two days after a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.

The 19-year-old is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a weapon in connection to the homicide of Andrew McPherson, whose body was found in a north-end apartment on September 7th.

Earlier this month Jordan Cordell Steinhauer, 20, was arrested near Lloydminster and on Tuesday a 17-year-old male was taken into custody. Both are also facing weapons offences and charges of second-degree murder.

Police say Cardinal will be brought back to Edmonton next week.
