Lauren Kyle McDavid launches Oilers-themed clothing brand
Lauren Kyle McDavid, Connor McDavid's wife, has launched an Edmonton Oilers-themed clothing line.
The brand, Sports Club Atelier, makes trendy sweaters, tops, hats, socks and claw clips.
"My inspiration was really drawn from collegiate sportswear. Just the spirit and the aesthetic and history behind collegiate sportswear," she told the Oilers.
The items are available to pre-order on Ice District Authentics and they are all limited edition.
"The next collection, we're hoping to drop before playoffs and that will have an entirely different line of items. Edmonton, I mean, we have such a rich history of hockey here and such an amazing fan viewership."
Kyle, McDavid's long-time partner, married the Oilers captain in Ontario last summer.
