Cricket club officials say the fire broke out early Thursday morning at their facility on Adelaide Street.

The club's president says roughly $100,000 in equipment and memorabilia - dating back more than a century - were lost.

He said it's not clear how it started. but it looks suspicious.

"From what I can see it looks like it's been soaked in gasoline and lit on fire. I don't have any doubt that this was done intentionally, and I think it's quite likely this was actually done targeting us,” said Sean Mitchell of the London Cricket Club.
