Edmonton police have identified the man shot and killed outside of a downtown pub early Tuesday morning.
One man died, and another man was injured Tuesday after a confrontation between a group of people escalated outside of a pub in the area of 104 Avenue and 112 Street just after 2 a.m.
On Wednesday, police said Medical Examiner had confirmed the deceased in the incident was Ibrahim Yousef Chehimi, 34.
In addition, police said a 28-year-old man had been shot in the arm, and he had been treated for his minor injury and released.
The Homicide Unit is still investigating the homicide, at last word; the suspect in the incident had not been identified or arrested.
