Edmonton police said an investigation was still ongoing, after a man in his 60s was struck by a van Friday morning.

On Friday, March 3, 2017, officers were called to the area of 128 Avenue and 101 Street at about 8:25 a.m., reports indicated a 64-year-old male pedestrian was crossing the avenue between 97 Street and 101 Street, when a white 2012 Ford Econoline van headed eastbound hit him.

Paramedics responded, treated and transported the pedestrian to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man remained in hospital Monday.

The driver of the van was not hurt.

Police are still investigating the collision, and ask anyone with information on the crash to call police at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone.
