Marni Kuhlmann is CTV Morning Live’s segment reporter. Before joining the morning crew, Marni spent nearly a decade as the anchor of CTV News at Noon.
Marni was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, lived in the small town of Vanguard, later moved to Moose Jaw and then attended university in Saskatoon. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, and a broadcast news diploma from SAIT in Calgary.
Marni started out in the radio industry in Williams Lake, B.C., before moving back to Saskatchewan to work at CTV Regina. After a couple of years in her home province she made the move to CTV Edmonton to be the Medical Watch reporter.
She’s passionate about supporting local charities, including the Baby Steps Walk to Remember, the Down Syndrome Society, the Terry Fox Run, and the United Way.
When Marni isn’t reporting, she likes to run, swim, bike, and do pilates and yoga. She’s done triathlons and a number of charity races. She has also run in the Canadian Death Race.
