Shelby Clarke is a news assistant and weather specialist at CTV News Edmonton.
Shelby always had a passion for talking on camera. Growing up in Edmonton, she would pretend to be a reporter and chase her family members down for interviews. She also enjoyed being on the broadcasting teams in elementary and junior high schools.
She enrolled at NAIT's Radio and Television program in 2018. During school, Shelby began working part-time as a Street Team member for Bell Media in 2019. Shelby also worked as a teleprompter operator for CTV News Edmonton's 5 and 6 p.m. broadcasts.
Shelby then moved to Lloydminster to start her practicum at Prime Time Local News and was hired as a reporter in 2020, and was also a weather specialist for two years.
In her spare time, Shelby spends most of her time with loved ones, reading a good book or binge watching a TV show.
Shelby speaks English.
