Police in northern Alberta had to shut down a section of highway overnight, after a single-vehicle crash left one dead.
RCMP from Wood Buffalo and Lac La Biche were called to the collision on Highway 881, about 150 kilometres north of Lac La Biche, at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police spent several hours at the scene, and closed the highway to allow investigators access to the scene.
It’s believed the vehicle had four people inside, police said one was pronounced dead at the scene, the other three were taken to hospital.
